Go to the Ace hardware downtown and stand where Elvis bought his 1st guitar. He went in to buy a 22 rifle and got a guitar instead.

Not Ace Hardware. Tupelo Hardware is where he bought the guitar. Ace was across the tracks and shutdown. There used to be a massive meteor on a platform in front of that Ace....but some yeeyees managed to steal it some years ago

The Neon Pig has one of the best burgers you'll eat. It's been probably 30 years since i went to Elvis' birthplace, it wasn't much to it then.

Heading to Starkville for Friday and Saturday nights. Feel like two nights is probably plenty there. Never been to Tupelo, but leaving for the trip on Thursday evening and was interested in staying somewhere other than Huntsville (great time, btw), Birmingham or Tuscaloosa. Will get in to Tupelo late on Thursday, sleep and then be in town for about six hours the next day before heading to Starkville.

While in Starkvegas, eat at Two Brothers, everything is good, but some of the best smoked wings you'll find.
