New Orleans is experiencing a dramatic drop in crime

Have the criminals killed themselves so much that they’ve cleansed the city by default?

There’s a level of sincerity here I never see on TD. I kept waiting for the cynical turn. It never came. Dumbfounded. And thank you, this was good. I love New Orleans. I pray for life to get better there for everyone.

Welcome to TulaneLSU. Someone ought to canonize and bind his posts in a book.

Last time I was there a few months ago, someone got shot daid right in Warehouse district. Guess he's pushing up the lillies you're referring to.

There were five active shooting crime scenes in a ten block radius two days ago.

That’s more like it.
I was beginning to think, they have gotten so lazy, they are too
lazy to commit crimes!

New Orleans is The Wire playing out in real life. New Orleans and Baltimore are twin cities

Friend,

Where is our bard friend? I have not seen him since his journey to Appalachia.

It is odd to return to an entirely different thread name. Surprising that a moderator would change the thread title to title that is less descriptive of the thread's theme. The paintings list was a response to the news, not the occasion for the thread itself.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Friend,

Praise the Lord you were able to outrun the reprobate who was chasing you.
