I do YouTube videos and do light weights until I feel like I have it. Power cleans and clean and press, I am still working on them. Been at it for 3 weeks. Haven't done more than 225.

My wrist and hip flexibility are hindering me doing more. I also haven't timed the jump.

That's moving pretty good. I usually start my workout with a 2000m row in 10 min

I went all out last week on my 2000m and finished at 8:14, so 8:00 is lofty, but gotta shoot for it.

225 on clean and jerk is damn good. I think 235 (somewhere around there) used to be my max in HS. I was a pussy on snatch though.

I only look at S/M and time. About how long at 32-33 s/m will 2000m take?

I don't do jerks. I do press. I can't seem to get under the bar and snap up my elbows.

It's awkward even with light weight?

Sucking 300 dicks in one day must have been grueling.

ETA: What's the 300 club?

I don't know honestly. I can pay closer attention to what my s/m is today though.

Just discussing rowing in general, I've improved my technique and strategize my intervals and it's helped. I've been focusing more on exploding through my lower body like a jump squat and just finishing with rowing with my upper body. Also, leading yourself back (to start position) with your hands and upper body first allows your legs to fatigue less because they aren't working to "pull" you back to the machine as they are just following your forward momentum. I shoot to do about 90-95% effort on 200m then cycle to about 60-70% for 100m and it's made my times get better.

Yeah. I dunno what it is. It's hard to get coaching when no one ever does them.

I watched a YouTube video last week with some of the US Olympic rowers (I think it was posted on deadspin). It helped with the technique.

you don't remember what CptBengal said?

If you haven't been trained by Matt Bruce or Gayle Hatch for years, those moves are DANGEROUS

My technique is probably shite now. It used to be pretty good. Went to Gale Hatch in grade school to learn.

I do legs on Saturday.

My left knee has been hurting the past 4 weeks. I feel fine doing squats and goblet squats. It's when I do my lunges, step-up reverse lunges, and split squats that it really fricking hurts. Basically it hurts when I have to lift myself up.
