re: Trump says take out terrorist's families

I mean it depends what he means- of he's talking widening the RoE to allow more civilian casualties in some cases I can see that (we already allow that with high value targets in drone strikes) if he's talking hitting there families in retribution that's a pretty massive war crime, not mention was literally one of the things that was listed as a cause of war in the Declaration of Independence.

I mean seriously a lot of the Western members of ISIS come from families that want nothing to do with them and hate they choices they've made-- it'd be like gunning down that Robert Dear guy's ex-wife because he perpetrated that terrorist attack in Colorado Springs.
