Has anybody else seen this commercial and immediately thought that Fernando is a high ranking cartel member and Tony is his money laundering buddy who will eventually be stuffed into a 32 gallon drum and dumped into the Gulf? Ole Fernando is sketchy as frick.

Tony looks like the guy who painted my kitchen a few years ago.

It’s the old Sun Trust. All over Florida and maybe elsewhere. $hitty bank.

BB&T and SunTrust merged and changed their name to Truist.

They are head quartered in Atlanta and have the naming rights to the Braves stadium.
You can't watch a Braves game without seeing this commercial.

Thanks for the info.
We definitely don’t have them around here in Louisiana or Texas/Mississippi. At least, I’ve never seen or heard of it.

That whole family of ads is weird. The first one they ran, with the black women at the cafe, was pretty grating. I know the word "cringe" doesn't sit well with everyone, but I really did kind of cringe at that one.
Supposedly these are real people. I'm not sure why I'd ever need to have a relationship with anyone at Truist Bank, to the point that we could sit at a cafe together cackling at stale jokes. I guess these people use financing from Truist to run a business or something, but at my personal level of entrepreneurship I am just fine with speaking to Rohit from Bangladesh about my banking needs, and I don't even want to know what he does after the bank closes.
