Trouble shooting a dishwasher w/spray arms that aren't working

Viking VUD140 or 141 model from the looks of it that came w/the house (not a fan, has had far more issues than any of the "cheap" brands I've had)
have already tried cleaning out the lines, have checked to see if sprayers are clogged, cleaned out the filter and no dice.
it still fills with water but just wont spray.
it makes a sad little whimper sound when I turn it off which leads me to believe it's something to do w/the pump or motor.
is there anything else I should check before I call a repair guy? if its the pump is it even worth trying to fix or should I just get a new dishwasher?

humble brag.
i kid, i kid. I'd buy a new washer. by the time you call an appliance guy out, plus the part, you are looking at a over half the cost of a new dishwasher. just mho

Sounds like the pump imo. But look on youtube, you can fix anything via youtube. Good luck.
ps - check the water source line leading to the dishwasher as well, not just the line inside the unit.

I would have been surprised to find dice in the dishwasher filter.

Go to Home Depot and buy a new washer. Take 30 minutes and install it.
