I guess that is a reason for being lazy and not putting the generator, extension cords, etc back in the storage room

Low pressure has developed near 27.2 N 92.2 W . Non tropical but pressure is currently 29.83 in Hg (1010 mb )@ kGBK platform at 2:35 pm CDT.
Greatly sheared winds SW to NE

Probably nothing to lose sleep over just an observation.

Posted on Friday 7/26/2019 - I am closely monitoring 2 tropical waves right now.

One of the tropical waves that is halfway between the coast of Africa and the Lesser Antilles is unlikely to develop, but it may help to create a more favorable environment for a tropical wave still over west-central Africa to develop.

This second tropical wave is expected to push off of the coast of Africa early next week and will need to be monitored closely for possible tropical development later next week as it tracks westward from the coast of Africa towards the Lesser Antilles.

A very comprehensive and detailed discussion on this can be found at LINK .
