I doubt that's case in this situation. There's a high over Georgia and Florida so it's probably getting squashed west even if historically they hit panhandle.

Latest Run has it a weaker 1006 millibar Tropical Storm near Gulf Shores AL

Guessing water temps that way are in the upper 70's

BR would get minimal effects ...this could change a few times between now & then.
