Who in Louisiana schedules a wedding on LSU-Bama?
In the one instance, the bride is from out of state but went to LSU and lives in BR. When she was planning her wedding (in NOLA) it was in that weird tweener time when they hadn't announced the new expanded-SEC schedules, so she guessed what the open date was going to be. She was wrong.
When the dates actually were released, she wept for 2 days.

Open date is never this late - sometimes Bama is earlier - when first week of season is later and we don't have 2 open dates then the open date is before Halloween instead of after
Since 2007 the Bama game has fallen anywhere from Nov 3-Nov 9

Usually the bama game is breeder’s cup weekend. This year is the first year I can remember it being a week after.

the Bama game hasn't been earlier than Nov 3 in like 20+ years. So why would anyone expect it to be this year?

I’m just making a comment about when the game generally falls in relation to my life. Is that a problem for you? I would’ve made the same mistake the bride did.
Muddy used to give me a tv at the tailgate for racing or else I wouldn’t come out. I also remember watching us lose to bama in the hotel bar after we had a horse run.

Yeah Cat 1 @ 80mph ...pressure getting lower 985 millibars ; wouldn't rule out Cat 2 for a little while before weakening
