There are some very very smart weather people that post in these weather threads. I wouldn't laugh it off.

No one is stalking you. No one is obsessed with you.

Don't flatter yourself.

That would put it well within the tropical storm category right?

You can laugh, but I've seen better predictions and more up to date models / forecasts on this site than anywhere else. The people who know what they are talking about find the models worth mentioning and bring them to these threads.

Technically, sure, but they've had tropical storm force winds for a day now and haven't named it. The overall organization is the issue.

Should I be concerned about my rentals off 74 and Bluff?

That's about as plain English as you can put it. Winds are around 55-60 MPH NE of the center. The pressure in the center is near 1000 mb.

You look at a model and/or forecast and always say something different than what the experts say. If the models say it is hitting Lake Charles, you say Mobile. If the models say Grand Isle will get 15" of rain, you say they won't see more than 2".

Your Bud Ice induced gut feelings are posted as if they come from a place of knowledge, and people get thrown off as a result. At a minimum, you should preface your posts by saying "I'VE NEVER BEEN RIGHT ABOUT ANY WEATHER EVENT, AND IVE GOT NO RATIONAL BASIS FOR THIS OPINION, BUT..."

I kinda agree. Maybe just put that * at the end of all your post with that statement.

Yeah, this board was providing more correct and detailed info faster than ANY news outlet last year for the flood. Never doubt the power of the OT

Find a better cumulative source of knowledge about this storm than this thread, and point me in that direction please.

I'll wait for your reply
