the money now is great ($5k/week), usually get a housing stipend as well, and other perks. There is such a shortage now at hospitals, you can pretty much go anywhere.

If you're willing to go anywhere, the money is even higher. Plus, you can get an apartment fully paid, plus a rental car and other expenses, plus a stipend.

I know a nurse from BR doing travel nursing at Stanford. Her pay is $130/hr. Half of her pay is tax free.

I don’t know why nurses fresh out of college don’t travel a year or two to make bank? In your 20’s single, no kids, no mortgage yet, cheap health insurance at that age. make that big money while you’re young. JMHO

Not every W2 job offers benefits, including paid for insurance so that’s not a difference.

Making estimated quarterly tax payments is also not a big deal because they aren’t taking your taxes away anyways.

There’s obviously things that are different and but from just a money stand point it’s literally just a 5-10% difference (more like 7ish??)

While she’s traveling are you gonna get a hall pass? Cause she’s gonna be finding Dr. Jody MD at each stop.
