Trashiest metropolitan areas in the south

We all know of trashy cities but are there any places you don’t think of until you expand the parameters outside of the city limits? My personal choices are Shreveport Monroe and Jackson. So pretty much i20.

Shreveport and Jackson are much worse inside the city than outside of it so I really don’t understand.

Somebody just posted a graph in another thread showing Memphis having the most robberies in Tennessee and West Memphis the most robberies in Arkansas.

Agree on Memphis and Jax surprises me. Granted I haven't been thru Jax in a long time and maybe I just missed the trashiest parts but I never thought Jax was trashy.

Memphis has some pretty nice burbs. Having grown up in one I know from experience.
I’d go with Jackson or Montgomery. Jacksonville is pretty bad too.
