Our 2015 4runner has started to leak oil on my garage floor. Can anyone suggest a honest mechanic to look at it? Thanks.

Seriously, I took the wifes sequoia to the Hampton dealer by Rouses on S. Johnston. They were pretty quick and service was good. I know they are a little more pricey but thats all I gots.

frick stans. Went in for an alignment and my ‘tie rod bolt was froze’. They said they put a torch to it and couldn’t free it. Charge me $100 for alignment. Went home and got the bolt off in literally less than a minute with my air hammer. Brought it back to finish alignment and they told me it would be $100 again even though they already charged me 1 hour before and only aligned one side.

I give Stan's another vote of confidence. My boss brags about Stan's and has all 3 of his vehicles serviced there.

Another option, Roland's Auto Repair in Youngsville on Heart d' Farm. Honest, reliable, and he doesn't try to sell you on extra services or unwanted repairs. My daughter's Camry was experiencing engine trouble with acceleration and burning oil. I tried DIY by changing the engine coil packs, and valve cover gasket ... still running bad. Roland's did a compression test confirming the 2&4 cylinders were bad bad due to high mileage and normal wear. Didn't charge me a dime and diagnosed the inevitable that this vehicle was no longer safe for a 17 yr old girl to drive on the road. I'd use him again in a heart beat and not think twice.

$100 does not buy 3 bags of groceries. Look up the price of an alignment machine. If it took an air hammer to take off that part it was probably shite anyway.

Toyota tie rod jam nuts are notorious for seizing up. It’s definitely an issue.

If you were my customer I’d give you the option to change the inner and outer tie rods with new jam nut and perform the alignment or tell you to come get your vehicle because I can’t break the jam nut loose and once it’s adjustable to bring it back and I would charge you for the alignment.

If he only has one rack he’s trying to charge you for rack time twice.

Alignment racks are like $40k and require constant software updating and maintenance.

Wait until your cam bolts seize up in your lower control arm bushings.

Delta World Tire on Guilbeau.

Ask for Steven, he runs it.

Dude is a beast mechanic and can tell you absolutely anything that may be wrong with your car/truck.

I’m not kidding either. Trust me, you won’t regret it. He’s honest and can fix anything.
