The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
West central Caddo Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
Southeastern Harrison County in northeastern Texas...
Northeastern Panola County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 330 PM CDT.

* At 255 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Elysian Fields, or 13 miles north of Carthage,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Elysian Fields around 305 PM CDT.
Waskom around 320 PM CDT.
Greenwood around 325 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Jonesville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter

The other warned storm to the NW looks much stronger on radar.

Just a big rotating section, don't see a tornado yet most likely. Its the sort of thing that can definitely spin up one.

Warning dropped for the one closer to Shreveport. Looks like just a strong wind threat for now except for the storm near Mooringsport.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN CADDO PARISH...

At 333 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Greenwood, or 7 miles southwest of Shreveport,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Caddo Parish, including the following locations... Cross
Lake, Spring Ridge and Forbing.

Currently hunkered down in the nursery at WK Bossier with our newborn. Nurses are flipping out.

Still in a warning here in Bossier. It’s fricking pouring. Not too windy where I am off Shed Rd., but lightning like a motherfricker.

of Stonewall, or 14 miles south of Bossier City, moving northeast
at 35 mph.
