Comments in the Live Chasing app had someone listening to a scanner and LEOs couldn't find the road due to debris. This is a big one.

i have it open right now sounds like a house got hit. it hard to understand they talk fast and the quality is not great.

Just glad that cell we've been watching died out as it was headed to DFW and looked like a wedge.
Scanner says I-20 west of Dallas is a parking lot because so many people bailed from their cars and went to overpasses.

Near Eastland? Google Maps traffic shows slow traffic there on I20.

It is on pace to arrive in the Metro after 7:00 pm and the atmosphere it is moving into is very unstable. It could cycle multiple times before reaching the area, something to keep an eye on.
Looks like a cell might be trying to form down SW of Grandview, TX. It would be moving into a very dangerous environment.

Those people who did it the first time years ago lucked out, and everybody does it now, but they say that's the wrong thing to do because of the wind tunnel effect.

The looks we got of the earlier tornado made it look pretty powerful. It appears it hit along the I-20 corridor as well which means people. I have a hard time believing there isn't going to be some bad news with that, especially having heard the scanner.

I think an overpass would be fine unless it took a direct hit. It's good debris protection and unless the vortex passes right through it, it's as good as anything in a bad situation.

Cell approaching Grandview, TX will go right through the heart of DFW. It looks to be rapidly increasing in strength as it moves north.

No, those cells are still west of DFW and all 3 are warned.
