Wait do vaccines completely stop the spread or do people get mild infections? Seems like I can get natural immunity even if vaccinated, but reduce my risk of hospitalization by doing so. So Ill be super immune and so will my wife and child. Awesome.

Or you can just get the vaccine yourself and let your kids get it naturally and receive the exact same result but whatever.

Let me clear, I am not trying to convince you to not vaccinate your kid. Chances are extremely high everything will be fine. I just get extremely aggravated when people try to say it is a necessity that it happens.

In NO, a 12 yr old needs to be vaccinated to eat at Applebees. Soon in SF, a FIVE YEAR OLD will need to be vaccinated to eat inside at Wendy’s. That is INSANITY!

Sorry your kids are fat, or have genetic issues/just generally unhealthy. If it's just that they're fat, you should feed them better.

I’m not going to tell people how to raise their kids unless it’s clear child abuse, like that thread I posted earlier this week where this mother has not allowed her 9 year old daughter to even go outside in 19 months. I disagree with that poster, but they’re not my kids and he should raise them as he wishes save for obvious abuse.

Agreed, well other than you should feed your kids better if they are fat. Pointing out that it's pointless to vaccinate children is not telling someone how to raise their kids though. It's just good information and a good conclusion to draw from all of the available data. It is clear that some people do not know how to read data and make logical decisions based on the data. I'm just here to help people make the best decision for their kids and themselves. If someone decides to still vaccinate their kids, so be it.

Well Shapiro said it on his show today and I found the doctor that said it where back in March he was saying it’s effectively 0 healthy kids have died from Covid.

Do you know how to google?

I found a Nature article in 30 seconds looking at UK that states similar death totals as you stated along with noting some preexisting conditions made death more unlikely. British press was all over it too.

Which, Im not debating.

Im debating your claim the vaccine is equally or more dangerous than that. Because if 100 kids have died from the vaccine that fricker would have been pulled.

Which, uh

I’m saying the death stats are so low that they’re at least comparable to complications from the vaccine

Ok, so then we get to do a benefit/benefit analysis. I get to assume zero risk if you are too.

We know the vaccine reduces the risk of death or serious illness, which would reduce from the already very low baseline. So it's better than getting a natural infection. If this intervention was costly to the individual, well I get it not being worth the risk mitigation. Since it isn't though...

Seen a few kids where it’s resulted in some sort of paralysis.

Oh well if you heard about the thing, guess it must be true.

I’m a proponent for the vaccine if you’re over 30 and haven’t had Covid, but if you’ve had Covid or are under 30 then I personally wouldn’t have gotten the vaccine.

I would understand this perspective more if you had a) anything but anecdotes to tell me about the vaccine risk and b) if it cost you $$ to get or you can't miss work for the one day you'll feel bad after.

I didn’t hear about it. I saw it. I’ve seen crying mothers with their 12 year olds beside them who could no longer walk

Seen or heard, it's still an anecdote and this discussion is concerning risk on the large scale. I suspect you keep making these emotional appeals because you don't have the data to back up the risk you ascribe to the vaccines.

Hell, if such data existed, it would be plastered all over this board.

The simple fact that they say the kids volunteered to take the vaccine should piss everyone off.

The kids had no say in it, the parents did this. And they are sick in the head.

Is the narrator that kid in the wheelchair from the Shriner's commercial soliciting money donations and promising to send you a teddy bear blanket in return?
