Shouldn't live with a girl if you like your space. I don't understand why couples want to move in together before they actually get married. That's the last chance you have to be free and not come home to someone.

Let me go ahead and fake my happiness through Christmas to her and everyone for that matter...then accept all of these gifts that seem to get more personal for the two of you the longer you're together...makes everyone else awkward then because they got you and her a gift that is now completely fricking worthless. I have had a break up not long after holidays before, there is no good time for a break up, but to continue to waste someone's time and live in a fake existence is just stupid. You're thinking about yourself by doing that because you think everyone will see you as less of a dick by not doing it before the holiday.

And if she's what the OP is describing her to be, she'll be with another guy by Christmas, while OP spends his alone. I'm guessing a few guys will be glad to hear she's available now.
