i saw a legitimate retard win about $1600 in a couple hours at the isle one time. that's more than i've ever made in a session, and this r-tard won it in 2 hours playing EVERY hand. shite happens

note: i basically quit poker after that and i don't think i've played in a casino since.

Roulette is very straight forward IMO but yea Craps can be confusing. I stick to the pass/come bets and inside numbers mostly.

Roulette confuses me on how people win money on it

Craps confuses me because I have no clue what's going on and how people win money on it

I remember one guy that talked to us for like 30 minutes on his roulette strategies and why you should bet this during this time or not and it still just seemed like random guessing to me

That's just dumb luck.

My best dumb luck story is I was playing Roulette and noticed the dealer kept hitting black 8 about every 5 or 6 spins. It was the 5th spin so I put $25 out and she didn't hit it so I figured she would hit the next time and put $50 on it and $100 on black. She hit it and with 35-1 odds on the table it paid me $1750 and $100 on the black bet. $1825 cleared after my other bet. It was dumb luck and not the most I have won but felt pretty awesome.

She had hit black 8 4 times in a row every 5-6 spins before that. I was watching it from the Blackjack table when I noticed and went over there just to make that bet.

The floor boss quickly sent that dealer on break and put someone else on the table to break up the consistency.

I just play the outside of the table usually. Mostly the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd 12 bets. I do this to get money back that I may have lost. I agree with you that it seems like too much random guessing otherwise.

Recently at L'Auberge I was the shooter. Just before I rolled I saw a guy on my end put down his entire stack on Don't Pass. I asked if he was coloring up and he responded "Nope". I usually play Don't Pass so it didn't bother me, but it just surprised me that he was betting that much on a high likelihood of wiping him out on one roll.

I rolled snake eyes, he won $245. Boxman asked if he wanted to press his bet, and he quickly picked up his winning. I rolled again, another snake eyes. Everyone on our side of the table was in disbelief, and the guy was kicking himself knowing that he could be up an extra $490.

As a non-OT baller playing the $10 table at the casino, I think that this was the ballsiest single bet I have seen.

My problem is that when I get ahead, I get bored/brash and start throwing my money around and end up about even. Thanks to some dumb luck and dinner reservations, last week I came out with $1700 at Harrahs after about 2 hours at the craps table and 10 minutes playing Roulette.

As usual, I was hovering around even at the craps table until one guy went on a run and I went up $800. Then walked over to roulette and just started betting colors. I hit the last 3 spins at $250, $250, and $500. The pit boss was watching me like a hawk.

Me about $450-$500

I did see a Vietnamese Guy at the IP in Biloxi hit >$9000 3 seperate times on the roulette table. He had a drug steal stack in his pocket.

I won $3500 playing 2/5 No Limit at the Bellagio. Was dead even after about 7 hours at the Table and went on a rush. Went from $500 to $4000 in less than an hour. Got back to my room in time to shower and catch my flight.

I go to the Beau about once a year with my golf league. Always play hold em on Friday night and have been fortunate enough to be able bank roll the rest of my trip based on Friday nights. I usually play black jack and craps with the guys on Sat night. Two rounds of golf and meals for 3 days without having to go back to the ATM.

Being the owner of a few casinos it is frowned upon to gamble.

Seriously about 400.00 playing Black Jack.
