Roger, when have I ever endorsed biden lmao.

You saddle the fence as a moderate and 80% of the board automatically assumes you're flat out liberal.

Cars, lumber, and even some food service businesses can't operate efficiently despite there being an available labor pool.

They are not paying enough. Businesses are accepting increases in costs of goods but are unwilling to realize that the cost of labor has gone up. Some companies are paying more and are getting staffed, the vast majority are not paying enough and it shows in their staffing and quality of the staff they do have. $10 an hour doesn't get you a warm body any longer much less someone working for 8 hours, standing, moving, lifting, etc.

Absolutely not. I'm far right, = Libertarian.

Moderate = Don't care about politics.

Not sure where you get that from.

Most prices here were not out of line with lower 48 prices, until a couple of months ago.

Everything is through the roof. Groceries are incredibly high.

MMT (Which progs love) believes that inflation can be avoided, and I say they are full of shite.

Because it's not 1999?

Roger, I never said you in particular.

I was using "you" as a reference in particular to myself and other moderates.

"you saddle the fence as a moderate, you get labeled a liberal in the OT" meaning "I saddle the fence as a moderate, etc.".

I'm a right leaning moderate. Always have been. I vote on a candidate's past history and how they line up with my personal takes on the economy, social issues, foreign policy, etc.

I've voted democrat, third party, and republican numerous times in local, state, and federal elections.

Exactly. The government was not artificially inflating wages with stimulus packages in 1999. The simple fact is that if you’re a minimum wage employee then by definition you aren’t even worth the minimum wage. Otherwise you’d already be getting paid more. It doesn’t matter if if the minimum wage is $1 or $100, if you’re getting minimum wage the only reason you are getting the pay check you are is because you’re employer will get fined or go to jail if he doesn’t give you that much.

Social issues ties directly into foreign policy, domestic policy, and economics.

Education too, to a certain degree.

Border policy as well.

They are all intrinsically linked.

FYI I'm hella conservative socially.

Or you could dispassionately evaluate the affects of social issues on economic and foreign policies and vote accordingly.

You're still essentially allowing social issues to sway your beliefs politically.

There's no objective way to look at policy. There's always a socio-economic bend to every decision made my a governing body, regardless of how large.

There is a way to get a raise, improve skills and education.

Min wage should be non existent.
