If you think Lafayette qualifies as “small town” you are sadly mistaken. A small town would be Ponchatoula or Deridder. Those are small but still big compared to some towns.

I've been saying this for a while. Baker once was a great place to raise a family and then it wasn't. Zachary is going down the same road. It has changed completely in just the last few years and will continue to change no matter how hard they try to keep it the way it was.
