Not in the same spot. The old one was a lot bigger. And had 3-4 Mastiffs walking around.



Fun fact about Uncle Earls: The original location which is now the Bulldog, was the Baton Rouge location of The Kingfish from the 70s. The Kingfish is famous in rock and roll lore as being one of the few places The Sex Pistols played in the US back in 1978. They made the tour westward across the south and ended up in San Francisco where they played their infamous final show and broke up immediately afterward.

When it was Uncle Earl's it still had the Earl K. Long montage featured in this iconic picture of Johnny Rotten on the back wall by the pool tables.
