Didn't have that one on my list of usual suspects.

I live in Grant Parish,I was surprised to see anywhere in Grant parish on the list.On the other hand there are some really nice houses scattered throughout those wood roads.

I think this is based on average income, so if the zip code happens to include low income areas, it will bring down the average.

Because we don't work in the area.

We all work offshore or in the plants.

Kind of knocks a hole in Broomtown's claim that St. George can't support itself financially.

Same thing happens in my zip code (70002). Has one of the more affluent areas of Jefferson Parish (Metairie Lakefront, only behind Old Metairie), but also includes Fat City (apartments full of hispanics)

It's by zip, not neighborhood. I live in Old Goodwood. There are a lot of trash apartments off Govt. St. and also Lobdell. Lots of single parent, little or no income. I'm sure many other zips are the same

This list is inaccurate. Every person from Marksville has always told me how much money people make there...and it's not on the list.

Typically earnings from dealing illegal substances are not reported as taxable income. Might explain why Marksville isn't on the list.

East Zwolle would be on the list but the lower end of that area has some low class housing.

First off this is not in Lafourche.

Actually, part of this zip code is in Lafourche Parish. The other parish is St. Charles.
