Tooth pain by The Great McGinty
If u pour a BC powder on the tooth and let it melt over the tooth that really helps. Also switch back in forth between ice and a heat pad. This helps release the gases in the tooth pocket which is the cause of most of the pain.

You went to Harvard, right?

Eugenol. Red Cross toothache stuff. Available at drugstores. It’s oil of clove. Been around forever. Sorry about your pain.

Finally fell asleep at 5:00 am. I have a bite guard that I figured would help transfer and clinching pressure to other teeth if I happened to do that while sleeping. Surprisingly the throbbing is gone (5 hours since last medicine). I guess I will keep this guard in for a bit, just worried that when I start moving around the blood flow will kick off the tooth again.

I hadn’t experienced a lull in pain for 48 hours so this is a welcome break. I am going to need some food, I have had about 400 calories since Sunday morning. Appreciate all the advice.
