I hope it works
just don’t be afraid to ask for help or do anything you need to to stay sober. Life was a lot different once I got clean but it’s the best decision I ever made. I’ll check the thread periodically if you have any questions I’ll be glad to help.

8 to 10 a day isn't really that much. Trust me when I say this. I'm not gonna get into it but that wouldn't even get me out of bed when I was using. I've been clean 12 years. Yes it sucks yes it's hard, but you can do it by yourself. I did. You just have to be done with it. You can't quit for momma or daddy, you have to quit for YOU. I have a great job now, family, kids. Life is awesome sober. I promise you, you can quit. It may feel like you wanna die coming off them, but you won't. Then when you get over the physical addiction, it's all mental and on you. I could spend days talking about my past and how I fricked up, but it's truly behind me. Yes there are some days I still wanna shoot stuff in my veins, but I remember 1 thing. What I have to lose if I start using again. I'm here if you need to talk.

What about the constant yawning?
Man I really sympathize with you on this. Just the thought of what you are about to face makes my skin crawl, so many bad memories from multiple detoxes. Unfortunately it took me many tries but you can do this in one lick. Good luck and may God be with you.

Wow... how did you afford it.. man it’s no second guessing it’s no if ands. I have to do it. I can’t take it bro. Just the stress of finding them. I NEVER thought about going get Herion or anything like that. Hell I wouldn’t even take anything stronger that a 10. I’m a pussy when it comes to taking shite I don’t know about.
Kinda like this Suboxone and the Valium. I’m starting to hurt really bad but I don’t know how much of the strip to take and my anxiety is through the roof right now. I don’t know if it’s safe to mix the two together. So I’m sitting here sick and hurting like a mofo.

Can I buy your excess percocets since you won't be needing them?

Good luck to you. I was recently on high dose of Morphine and weaned off it. Had withdrawals (runny nose, body aches, fatigue, etc.) for about 72 hours. It does not sound like you were taking a ton of pills, but it still is no easy task to stop. I wish you much success.
I'm now on hydrocodone and will be for most likely a long time. As my doctor put it for my situation addiction is the least of my worries. I'm just counting the days until September gets here and medicinal marijuana goes live.

I was trying to be cleverly vague. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer a year ago. I didn't want to turn the attention in this thread away from the subject at hand. You are correct though and I don't want to minimalize addiction.

It’s getting rough. Minutes seem like hours. I’m really trying not to give in and take Suboxone. I want this so bad.. I know it’s rough now but when it’s said and done. I’m taking the wife ( No Pics ) on a vacation. Don’t know where but we will go somewhere

Sorry to here that bro.. I hope the best for you.. And yeah at your point I wouldn’t think twice about taking the meds. It just got way out of hand with me..

Thanks man. You have quite the list of chronic pain causers yourself. Very brave thing to catch yourself before you got further down the rabbit hole. With support and the willpower you are showing, you will conquer this in short order.
