My little mutt, Zoey (named after my wife's favorite character on Firefly)

Unknown breed mix. Could use some help identifying it!

She's the best dog I have ever owned. Smart, friendly, never barks and is very well behaved.

She loves going to Highland Road park to play Disc Golf

Only knock on her is that she is a recovering BBC addict.

Kenzie. Lab/Border Collie mix.

Got her Christmas 2013 at 4 months old from a rescue shelter. Walked in and while all the other dogs started barking and freaked out, she just sat there chillin and quiet. That's when I knew she was the one.

Best dog I ever had.

She's never shown any aggression towards people, but it takes her a while to warm up to other dogs and she's pretty skiddish around other dogs, but that's more on me for not getting her properly socialized as a puppy.

Other than ripping the stuffing out of a few comforters in the first 2 years, not much house destruction. Just have to make sure to get them plenty of exercise.

The biggest downside to a heeler is the shedding. She sheds a ton.

I am a firm believer that a dog is a product of their environment.

I regularly exercise her, socialize her and bring her with me to as many places as I can.

She has a very intimidating look (when the ears go up and she "sits" in place watching, but has never shown any aggression to anyone.

But you have to watch for cues. Whites in her eyes, hair standing up, etc. to ensure you are in complete control.
