And I feel ya on that. Going back to Shreveport would probably entail more money also, but I am stubborn and want an LSU degree

Yeah I got a B in the first intermediate cause Holmes tests were ghey. Got As on the first 2 tests this go around but I sucked on the last one and the homeworks were really hard so I'll most likely end up with a B

Pack, did you get an internship? I want to do CIA next spring. My cousin got Walmart corporate and I heard a lot of people with shitty gpa's got solid gigs. Sounds right up my alley

Yep, got one here in BR at P&N. Didn't want to leave... Really as long as you are a peoples person and have close to a 3.0 then you will get an internship somewhere. There were some stupid people that got some good jobs.

I went to the first CIA class this semester and dropped it. It looked good, but being full time and working, there was no way I'd have the time for the outside of class events required the first month or so.

Meh, does 2.7 count? I heard the gpa's this semester were pretty bad. Hopefully that's the case next spring. I can definitely do the talking, just need my foot in the door

Yeah, to the guy above you there is no way you could take this class with a full time job. Part time is hard enough.

Yeah you can definitely get an internship with a 2.7 you just might get cut from the big companies or you might have to wait till the second round... Even still I know a guy in my class that's a total shite head, no way he has a 3.0, and he put on his resume a list of concerts that he has been to which to most people just read as "I smoke weed, deal with it"... Turns out one of the recruiters from TD bank had a similar interest, they talked about it the whole 30 min interview and he got a job with them. Now I wouldn't put something so stupid on your resume but if you can talk to the recruiters then you should be fine.

Thanks for the feedback. My cousin said there are some big companies that wave GPA. Hopefully because everything else on my resume is solid from work experience to hobbies.

I really want walmart, because I love Northwest Arkansas and want to use Walmart as leverage to get into UA's Walton MBA program. Going to be difficult but hoping my cousin can help out too. she seemed to imply I didn't need a 3.0, just be a peoples person like you said.

welp, got a D on my Acct 305 final. And I've been studying for it since Thursday. Great way to start the week. I'll still pass. But I really wanted a B.

Your cousins initials MJ? There were only 2 people I know of that got Wal-Mart and one was a grad student I believe. They only interviewed like 5. But yes if you can talk and if you know people you should be good.
