And without question the greatest victory of Napoleon Bonaparte's career: the Battle of Austerlitz.

Fought on December 2, 1805, near the modern day city of Slavkov u Brna in the Czech Republic, Austerlitz has often been called the "Battle of the Three Emperors" due to the fact that the French emperor (Napoleon), the Austrian emperor (Francis II), and the Russian emperor (Alexander I), were all present at the battle.

A combined Austro-Russian force under the command of Russian Marshal Mikhail Kutuzov was defeated by the Grande Armée of Napoleon after the latter combined deception with perfect timing and superior tactics to defeat his foe in the field. Casualties turned out to be very lopsided with Napoleon's force suffering around 8,852 combined casualties while the Austro-Russian force suffered between 27,000-36,000 combined casualties

This video is an excellent breakdown of the campaign and the battle:

What was decided? Napoleon would lose for the final time 10 years later, get banished to the actual middle of nowhere, die, have his penis cut off and stuck in a little jar.

The only winners of the Napoleonic Wars - were the Rothschilds.

Austerlitz was Napoleon’s crowning achievement, but it’s crazy how it set the stage for so many shifts in Europe. A real game-changer.
