In reality...it doesn't. All that matters is who's telling the story.

That's how legend works.

They told him he needed to hook up to the line.

He broached the subject first. He balked at the price. The town allowed him to dump human waste wherever he wanted for nearly a decade. I won't rehash it again, but when they finally told him he had to do it he refused to even consider any option.

Alright. The guy is a hero and the actual facts of his situation don't matter at all. Carry on.

If this guy was an OT member you people would treat him like OweO. He'd be banned inside of a week. Outside of the killdozer he is the person most of the OT professes to hate.

bullshite. He had no option at that point other than to take Cody's deal or sell the property, which he eventually did to another party.

No, not wherever he wanted. Does that sound consistent with any of the other elements of this story? "Hey, we won't make you hook up but you can just dump shite wherever you want."

No, he was allowed to dump in the same spot everyone else in his situation dumped in. If you have a problem with that, contact the state of Colorado.

Only after the illegal zoning went into effect did they require him to hook up, and his only option at that point was to go through Cody.
