National Donkey Day, also known as World Donkey Day, is celebrated annually on May 8th. It's a day to raise awareness about donkeys, their contributions, and the need for their welfare and protection.

Purpose:
The day aims to highlight the importance of donkeys, both as working animals and companions, and to promote their humane treatment.

I was hoping this was for emotional jackasses and not the actual animals. Today would have been my day to shine.

Donkeys are cool as shite.

Used to work at a barn that had a bunch of fainting goats and a big arse donkey. The donkey would haul arse through the goats causing all sorts of noise and the goats would be passing out left and right.

He would laugh his arse off after doing it.
