They shouldn't be allowed to take off if A/C isn’t working properly. That’s a terrible situation

We landed in Peoria between 3:30 & 4:00 PM. I just checked and the high here today was 89. We sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes with no air.

Thanks American Airlines.

I noticed the same thing last week. All of the club lounges had 50+ people waiting to get in. I’ve never seen that before

Dinner at Alexander’s is tradition. As for Big Al’s, that’s also tradition.

But tonight I’m chilling in my room watching LSU & Wake.

You walked away from the landing, suck it up.

Delta SLC to DFW today. Loaded the plane, on-time. They get everybody onboard. Pilot speaks on the intercom,

"Sorry folks. Looks like someone forgot to schedule a co-pilot. The soonest we can get one here is in another 2.5 hours. So, we'll sit here."

Nobody said anything. The Flight Attendants. No other passengers. Five minutes passed. I got up from my seat, walked to the front galley and said, "You have not, and cannot back away from this gate until you have a co-pilot. You need to open this door and let everyone off, and provide food vouchers. Tell the pilot to announce it."

They did, and he announced, "Sorry folks. Forgot to tell the flight attendants to have everyone gather their belongings and leave the plane. You'll each receive vouchers for food and beverage while you wait."

Now, were they really just going to sit there and expect everyone to stay on that plane for 2.5 hours? I don't know. But they sure weren't making an effort to.

For a short while, United was trying to de-thrown American as the worst airline.......they gave up and acknowledged that American is in a class by itself.

I would fly Spirit before I ever fly American again. That being said, if Delta can't get me there, I'm driving.

imagine the flight attendant was ready to resign after that, and I bet it wasn’t her only flight of the day on that plane.

Pretty sure once a bodily fluid hits an airplane outside of the bathroom some measures have to be taken to resolve that before flight can resume.

Never worse on any train, plane or automobile, on any continent, than flying next to someone transiting to/from Minneapolis of a certain origin. When it's so bad you can't even bring yourself to eat or drink the garbage Delta gives you, it's really not good.

Sailors stink less than that plane did.

That’s cyclical. For a while Big Al’s will have the better talent. Then something happens and they all go to Club Cabaret. Then the cycle starts over. It’s been this way up here for decades.

Actually, United hired American's CEO.

Yeah it sucks. I have been flying Nola to Houston and back every few weeks recently and this has happened twice on the flight home to New Orleans. I get delayed before take off out of Houston twice due to flight attendant turnover. It’s 90+ degrees and there is no AC. It’s a bunch of malarkey. I have shorts and a dry fit polo ready to go this week.

If that's your air travel nightmare, you don't fly much.
