So it takes Judge Spicer
three weeks to get back to town,
and he says, 'Well,
did you actually see it? '
I said, 'No. By the time I got there,
Marshal White had already been shot.'
Then Spicer leans forward
and he says,

- What?
- Case dismissed. Can you beat it?

I recall you asking about the courthouse. Did the defendant actually get off because of that situation? That's nuts. The ADAs in Jefferson are very good. Convicted a guy earlier this year for the murder of an old friend.

Person 1 pulls gun person 2 runs up stairs away, hears shot but doesn't see it. Person 3 dies. person 1 or 2 won't testify against one another. No gun was found.

Why do you think there was a perp? We know one person was killed and one person brandished a gun. Either of the following could happen, and has happened IRL:
1) The one who brandished his gun was taken down by the other guy, who shot the gun-brandisher in self-defense.
2) The one who brandished the gun was just pulling it out to commit suicide.
