Jacinto City? I mean how much is he willing to pay for housing? You can live in the city if he's got some change and not have a 2 hour commute.

Jacinto City is just outside the Loop....you were saying east side of town...I was thinking past the Beltway east of town.

Suggestions? Got one kid who will be in 8th grade and one who will be a Jr. Wife will be working downtown.

Mandeville/Madisonville schools aren't comparable to Clearlake? I always thought they were.

Did the same thing in 1995 and definitely worth it. Smaller town appeal, more friends and family close, but not next door! Make sure to get in the right school district if going the public school route (we did and children excelled). Better seafood almost makes up for the terrible Mexican food, and that really is my own complaint.
