Hull not found. The rear point thing is just a cover which was found.

Some sort of debris field has been found. Did they launch fake debris from a torpedo tube?

Especially after he did that underwater pyramid episode where he had to scuba in zero visibility using a rope, release it and swim straight ahead to a room with a collapsed ceiling and go into another one to look at what they think is a sarcophagus. Each room's ceiling could collapse and entomb him.

Has it been reported anywhere how many dives to the Titanic this sub had made prior to this one?

ORV found it. It just arrived today and found it within hours. Coast Guard was looking 2 miles away because of the banging sounds. Banging was just the ocean.

Pretty understandable logic given that if it imploded near the wreck there was nothing to do because they're dead already. Whereas, if the banging had been from the sub it meant they were possibly still alive. The USCG is in the search and rescue bidness. They'll always lean that direction first until the plan changes to search and recover.

There was a thread that got wacked about "who's paying for the search?"

People in the thread were complaining about how taxpayers are picking up the tab. In this case these baws have/will (estate tax) pay a very substantial amount of taxes... now I'm not suggesting that the Fire Department shouldn't put out the fire at a poor persons house but to complain about taxpayers picking up the tab is puzzling

frick it. I’ll stroke my ego I posted the seismograph off of Newfoundland 3 days ago showing the implosion.

I think TD is still undefeated in having the news first.

It was supposed to be a 2 hour trip down to the Titanic, from what I have read.

On that Texags thread where the OP's company was asked to assist with the search...the OP says the Coast Guard told them about the acoustic anomaly (of the implosion) on Monday morning.

Thought I saw something that said this was going to be the twelfth dive....or maybe this was the "lucky 13th"...
