Parenthesis, exponents, multiplication/division, then addition/subtraction

That's the order you solve the problem in going from left to right.

Always do unto one side as you do unto the other.

Also, if you have a systems of equations, you can solve for one variable and substitute that equation in as the variable in the other equation.

FOIL
(1+y) x (2-x) = 2 - x + 2y - yx

I FKN HATE MATH!!! I'll be honest, so i found alil APP called, "wolfram alpha", you can type damn near any equation into it and it will give you the answer. My phone fit conviently in the back of my calculator cover, Coincidence??? I think not!!

Helped me pass algebra and Stats.... best $4.99 I ever spent!!!!

The trick to math is to repeat it. You can't learn how to do any math problems by doing it once and forgetting about it. Do it and do it often.

Work problems. If you get stumped, ask for help. Then work more problems. Lots and lots of problems are your friends.

I had to recently help my cousin with algebra.

I couldn't even explain it. It was so natural/engrained/old after adv. math, engineering calc 1 & 2, physics, etc...it was almost difficult for me to understand something as simple as algebra

Not the shite that you do in calc 3 with arc-lengths.
