We only need 2 times zones, Eastern ( east of the 'Sip) and Western. Also, let's stay on DST all year long.

The average OT poster doesn’t stay in areas like this.

The twice a year time change due to daylight savings already makes him cry too much.

I'd gladly give back an hour of this heat right now.

It would do it sporadically and since it was my alarm clock I either woke up on time or an hour early.

The first time this would have happened I would have thought it was mildly amusing. The second time it happened I would have bought an alarm clock.

I knew student teachers in Auburn who worked in Columbus, GA. They hated getting up extra early, but they also liked getting home by 3pm.

was doing some work in KY and was running late for an appointment. I crossed the time zone and ended up being 30 minutes early

Or you could do the normal thing and turn auto update off on your phone.

Have to wear a watch set to each zone on opposite wrist.

This is the way.

I live in EST now. All I know is CST is the best time zone. shite doesn’t start too early and games don’t end insanely late.

Florida has a weird spot where half a county and a piece of another are in different time zones.

Stayed in the area last summer and didn’t affect my life at all. I used the EST to decide when it was appropriate to start drinking.

I can’t find a logical reason why a portion of a county is in a different time zone. Media market thing? Military thing?

Especially up in the extreme NE. Boston and Maine are essentially north of Bermuda, not Florida. After time change in November, it is essentially dark by 4pm.
