I lived in Illinois for 8 years. It is the worst state in the US by a mile.
Taxes- High sales tax, high income tax and high property taxes.
Economy- The state is losing businesses and people left and right.
Weather- It is horrible. You have an arctic winter with no real Spring. Summer is nice though.
Roads- 18x worse than La.

What is your obsession with dive bars? This is very strange. I feel like I'm arguing with a 16 year old girl on the Jerry Springer show.

Poor
Crappy weather
Only thing to do there is go to Cracker Barrel
Haha is this you trying to bring some heat? My interpretation is that you are a naive little boy that hasn't seen very much. You've only seen the tourist attractions at the handful of cities your plane landed in...and the states you don't like are ones you drove through on the interstate and only saw interstate attractions. The rest is shite you saw on TV or read on the internet.

All I know is that Nebraska is a terrible place to live. Awful. Everyone considering that state should stay out and move somewhere else like Iowa or Missouri and just leave Nebraska as the desolate state it is. People that work in offices located in Omaha and Lincoln should leave too because it sucks so much. Its just awful.

California needs to be below Mississippi.
No shite, they are flooding in and we damn sure aint moving there.
Seems every other house being sold in Natchez right now is to someone fleeing California.

Then what does Oklahoma offer besides shvtty dive bars?
Overall nice people, generally low crime, and some beautiful scenery.

Apparently he thinks states consist of nothing but cities and outsider those cities are nothing but bars of varying degrees of trashiness. I doubt this guy has ever ventured outside where public transportation will take him.

Have no respect for the person doing the ratings, so it doesn't matter.

Louisiana way too high. Should be in the Z tier, with Mississippi

Don't go to Fargo, North Dakota if you hate shitty dive bars.
Its the dive bar capital of the world.

Looks like half of O-T needs to move to Fargo

I’d probably cut them down to 3 tiers.
Would live there
Can’t pay me to live there
Worth visiting but wouldn’t live there
California, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, Wyoming and Alaska are the ones in the worth visiting category for me.
SEC school states (Including Oklahoma) are the live there.
Everything else I’m fine without

What in the hell is your obsession with dive bars?
Isn’t this list based on overall scenery/beauty of the overall landscape of the state or is it just the states with the best cities?
