Tigerroar went pay at the beginning of the 2002 football season. They had the Lair (sports) and the Alley (off topic).

Tigerforums already existed but was a small operation. They added a politard board for the refugees from Tiger Alley. They banned Tomm in January of the following year and interest cratered. Surprised they lasted this long.

TD is the last one standing. Tiger Roar technically still exists but is so glitchy you can't even create an account. They're basically just a news feed on the front page now.

Is that tigerfan.com? With the tiger den and other subforums. I used to post there in like 2003. Started here not long after but didn't post much. Lost my user name than came back a few years later and here I am

I paid the subscription for a while then migrated over here. I wonder about some of those guys. A few are here but most aren't. Some of them were pretty old. They may have passed on.

i was on TF back in early 2000's and this board. once chicken switched the software to the current layout here i posted more here and then brett started charging on TF and it was over, never went back to tf.

for a long time it was TD and TF as the main lsu boards and rivals back 2 decades ago and you had the lair. but then all that changed with rivals and scout coming up and then 247 and on3.
