Tickets to The Masters

Anyone ever "won" the lottery that allows you to purchase tickets for $100? I want to go this year but trying to avoid paying $1400/day thru stubhub. Have any of you ever been able to get a deal on tickets?

Pretty sure that lottery is just for the practice rounds

I've been able to buy tickets 3 times through the lottery.

Nope. There are lotteries for each. They just happen to offer far more practice round tickets than daily badges

Not sure what the name of the place was but it was course where they play the masters at.

If you really want to go, go to Augusta during Masters week. Augusta National is on Washington Ave. There are literally dozens of brokers set up along the street with tickets for sale. A practice round ticket can be had for $400 - $500. Wednesday may be a little more because of the Par 3 tournament.
If you really want to go, go. It will be a day that you will never forget. I am fortunate to have gone 3 times...so I feel like I have 3 lifetimes of memories.

I won a lottery while stationed in Augusta 3 years in a row. Went on Sunday, watched Tiger, Weir, and Mickelson win for $30 each time.
