Maybe the inmAtes were just helping the guards with their estate planning and taxes. A man feels more like a man when they have a cold bottle of suds and six grams of cocaine.

This is just how it is in jail. Drugs are pretty prevalent in them.

Yes, actually they do. Lots of employees come from the hood once they find out what type of cash they can make quickly.
They are so short staffed a person could work every day for a year if they want. There is a facility there that’s like a hotel of sorts the guards can stay in. ( BOQ, not the B-line housing) Young buck from N.O. can hire on, work a week or two taking orders for goodies and making arrangements to get paid. He goes home and the inmates families and friends pay him good money and next time he goes to work he delivers the contraband.
At $11.42 an hour you aren’t gonna recruit quality applicants for the job.
Hell, several months ago 7 cadets were caught smoking weed in the parking lot.
People would be amazed at what goes on out there
