re: Thoughts on stained concrete floors.

We had to pull all the carpet for hypoallegtic reasons and found someone who laid down a thin layer of concrete/plaster to give floor "texture", then stain and sealed the floors. Ocssionaly have to touch up the pait but others wise it's great. I do wear socks in the house to soften the effect on my feet.

and for all those that said they get dusty...you do realize that that dust also imbeds itself in the carpet and you end up breathing it...
