Our group very seldom goes out like bar/club hopping though. Our outings are stuff like happy hours, trivia nights at sports bars, wine clubs held at each other's homes, brunches....that kind of thing.

I'm sure the single women in the group go out more though.

and in my experience

So you now have a vagina and have girls night outs?

There is a difference in women bonding over the annoying things/habits their husbands have than just throwing their spouses under the bus to one another.

I'll complain if my husband is always forgetting his wallet or something like that.....I'm not gonna discuss every detail of our last argument to everyone.

Well don't men bitch about the annoying habits of their wives to one another?

(Like everyday on this very site)

Nothing wrong with that. Again....not the same thing as telling your friends all the details of the last heated argument you had with your spouse just to make yourself sound like the better person (and totally glossing over any faults you possess that contributed to the argument).

i'm going to be honest; and you can check my post history if you care that much..but i have never complained about my SO either to my friends in person or on here. she's pretty damn close to perfect and even though we have our arguments, i'd rather talk sports with my friends or movies.

First off. Sex is one of the best emotional stress relievers. And woman are no diff than men in that case. But they are more upfront and honest about their shite while men try and play hard. Better question why do men commit suicide after being dumped and divorced? Woman show more strength to move on and men waddle in their sorrow and weakness. Lol

That's because the over-whelming majority of divorces are initiated by the woman. Unless the man catches her arse, that is...

Or it could be that women are not only supported, but encouraged, in their decision to initiate divorce by a social and legal system that supports them socially, emotionally and financially. But keep on being an ignorant white white. LOL.

Oh idk. It may be the huge financial strain that men face paying alimony, child support, etc. Or the fact that men are territorial. And it's harder to see another man be with the woman you thought you'd spend the rest of your life with, or knowing that he's around your children resenting them every day because they're not his.

depends a lot on WHO she's having the night out with - other married women, or single women. Women are way too easily influenced by those around them.

ETA: the ABSOLUTE worst thing you can do is let them go out with recently divorced friends.

Agreed. You should also not be scared of openly shaming her recently divorced friends so that she will not want to hang out with them.

Oh, it's a long term tactic, but it works. And not just her friends, but any divorced woman and/or single mother.

Unhappy women love trying to make happy women feel just like they are. I worked with a large group of 30-40 year old women a few years ago and the divorced/cheating types were always trying to influence the stable
women.
