What a sad and stupid end.
I know you can't go around killing people... and I don't know for sure they weren't planning to murder everyone who aggrieved them in life... but it doesn't seem like they were much danger to society (and we're all better off without the dead guy). JudgeGary would've given them each 8 years.
35 years for her is just crazy. By comparison, a few years ago in Baton Rouge Greg Harris stabbed his lawyer wife 43 times and got 40 years. LINK.

I don't feel bad that Crehan killed the guy, but he probably shouldn't have done it. But... What if this saved one little girl from being molested.
That being said, the justice system is beyond broken at this point. Long gone are the days when punishment was supposed to be a preventative measure. The justice system at this point does nothing but meets quotas and looks for easy solutions. Any lawyer will tell you, a lawyer has failed if he sees the inside of a courtroom.
And let's don't even get started with Trudy White.
There is a problem here, and it is the justice system.
Also, as I learned as a teenager if you find out your girlfriend was molested, run. She's got more problems then you are certified to handle.

Can't upvote this enough. Your dad is a hero and the fact that you are a survivor with a great sense of humor is wonderful to see.
