re: Thoughts on Derek Chauvin’s sentence?

Exactly, saying that he died from an overdose shows more callous from the officer than if he just unintentionally killed him. Like the guy is overdosing so you restrain him with a knee for 9 minutes in lieu of getting him medical attention? IMO he wasn’t overdosing so it’s irrelevant, but it doesn’t exactly help his case.

Let me hold your hand through this:
1. He didn’t die of asphyxiation. He died of a heart attack.
2. Compressing someone’s neck does not cause a heart attack.
3. Meth + fentanyl + heart disease + physical exertion + adrenaline will cause a heart attack.
Therefore, his heart attack, which is what actually killed him, was caused by a combination of factors. It wasn’t just the drugs. It wasn’t just his heart disease. It wasn’t just the cop.
You’re welcome.

Had Chauvin not kneeled on his neck he would have been alive the next day. That is what Dr Baker and the other experts concluded. As well as anyone’s eyes who watched the video.

Sabes has never heard of a stress test. It’s supposed to be a warning sign of a impending heart attack. They elevate your heart rate and blood pressure with physical exertion.
Same thing Floyd did by wrestling the cops

I’m just guessing those were the other things mentioned. He testified drugs weren’t the cause of his death at trial, rather “neck compression” so take it up with him if it’s contradictory

Do you have a link to this? Not saying it didn't happen, i didn't follow it closely. If he was od'ing and asking for help, why wouldn't the cop help him?
A link to what?
The story about the half chewed pills?
It was about a full half day of defense evidence in the trial but I’m sure I can dig it up for you. They had pictures of the partial pills in the back of the cop car and they had the lab technician describe how they found Floyd’s dna and digestive fluids on the pills. And they were an exact match to the other pills found in Floyd’s car. They contained fentanyl and meth.

There’s no way to know this. He was already complaining about shortness of breath before they ever put him on the ground.

Dr. Baker said the knee on his back, his words, contributed to the attack. No different than a taser fired by a cop triggering a heart attack.
The fact it was ruled a homicide proves this was nothing but a political show trial.

Yes this thread absolutely proves that everyone agrees with your viewpoint.

Dr Baker ruled it a homicide and testified that “neck compression” was the cause of death

He testified that a heart attack was the cause of death and “neck compression” was a factor due to his heart disease and the drugs that were causing high blood pressure.
Again, “neck compression” doesn’t cause heart attacks.

No, he didn’t. Heart attack was the cause of death.

It’s the biggest example of gaslighting I have ever seen. People seriously say, “the video doesn’t show what you think it does.” Don’t believe your lying eyes.

Go to 34 minutes in the link I posted. He absolutely says neck compression was what caused his death

Like seeing “cardiopulmonary arrest” listed as the official cause of death but repeatedly saying it was “neck compression”?
You’re correct. That is gaslighting.

I thought he said it was positional asphyxiation at 32 minutes?
Which is it?

Is that the same link you lied about him saying positional asphyxiation at 32 minutes?

Just watch it instead of arguing, he says the cause of death was neck compression

Chauvin fricked around and found out
Good riddance

Floyd was a POS, Chauvin is a POS. This is a battle of who the bigger POS is, but somehow a dumbass movement sprung up over one of these pieces of shite. You're a disingenuous prick if you fail to admit to this realization.
