I'm not against spanking at all. I was spanked and I spank my kids. But I made a promise to them and my wife and myself I would never, ever do it while I was angry. That will ensure that I never go too far.
That dude looked like he might be going right over the line. And public spanking is trashy AF, not to mention, it invites shite like this. Someone videos you, and before you know it, CPS is coming to take your kids. I remember being terrified on car rides home from somewhere that I had showed my arse as a kid. I knew it was gonna be bad when I got home.

How hard he hit each is kind of subjective but cursing a child in public "sit your arse down" is objectively wrong.

Yep. I call it an unchecked will. It's bad for everyone, and this country is creating them by the millions now. No parent wants to parent anymore.
