She's cute but def a gold digger. She moved from Italy to Sweden for the sole purpose of marrying PDP and succeeded.

Moving to a different country with hopes to marry a major league YouTuber: Crazy

Acutally marrying PewDiePie with his 100,000,000 subs and huge income: Crazy Like a Fox

I’ve heard of him but didn’t know what he did.

I think the concept of watching someone play video games sounds lame as frick. But then again, I don’t play video games.

But the thing I think that turns people like me off the most is the name. Pewdiepie? Sounds like a gay looney toons character.

It's really the name that bugs me. I keep picturing someone really annoying like the Leave Brittany alone guy or Perez Hilton. Pewdiepie? WTFF?

“Watching people play video games is lame as frick.”

This is such a pathetic and look at how cool I am comment. It’s pretty much the go to comment when the e-sports or YouTube gamers come up.

Please explain the difference between that and watching sports? “Go join the local semi pro league you lazy fricks.”

Please explain the difference between that and watching outdoor channels? “Go catch your own fish you lazy frick.”

Hypocrisy

Marzia started dating Felix when he has 30k subs.

And it obviously won’t stop anyone from offering their opinion on watching people play video games, but that isn’t really what Pewdiepie does. He mostly reports on internet culture and memes.

[Marzia] Kjellberg was introduced to Felix Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie in his videos, by her friend Daizo, who recommended that she watch "this idiot playing video games". She began dating Felix in 2011, after e-mailing him and stating that she found his videos funny. She then moved to Sweden, to live with him that October. They later moved to her native Italy, before settling together in Brighton, England. The couple live with their two pugs, Edgar and Maya, as well as a hedgehog named Dogy. They previously owned a toad, Slippy. Their relationship has been highlighted by various media outlets, with The Globe and Mail writing that Kjellberg’s "calm personality balances out Felix's general wackiness." On 27 April 2018, Kjellberg announced on Instagram that Felix had proposed to her; on 20 August 2019, the couple announced on social media that they had gotten married.
Oh yeah, she sounds like a total gold digger. They can't possibly actually like each other and have a real relationship.

Hypocrisy

I don't see how it's hypocritical. It's just a preference.

I don't like playing video games so why would I like watching someone play them? I haven't played a video game since Madden 2008 or some shite like that.

I agree that watching live sports is just entertainment and so is watching people play games.

I'm just not at all interested in video games so to me it's lame as frick. I don't care if other people watch. I also don't like rap, hip hop, pop country, and any other number of popular things. To each their own.

It really is a generational thing imo. I mean I'm sure there are 40 year old dudes that watch him, but I doubt it's his target demographic.

FWIW, even though I don't typically watch gamer videos, I think some people watch to learn game strategies, and I think others watch for what they view as hilarious commentary. People like the personalities of these popular YouTubers and find what they have to say or how they edit their videos entertaining. I'd much rather watch a PewDiePie video than a lot of the trash on TV.

The difference isn’t in the watching. The difference is in what is being watched.

While people do go overboard with playing and watching sports and with outdoor activities, they are going overboard with something that is a real activity.

Video games are virtual reality.

Playing them can be a harmless diversion, but dedicating serious time to them is destructive and fruitless behavior for almost everyone.

You can’t compare that with real activities.

What are “subs” and how does one acquire them?

I know what "subs" used to refer to, and they were definitely a good thing. Never was real sure how to get me some though.

More important question, who dis?
