Sorry no jokes to cheer you up just commiseration.
The holidays have always been extremely hard for me. I never really experienced the holidays as a child (there was too much bad stuff going on) so as an adult I have always felt uncomfortable (at best) when I try to participate with other folk's holiday celebrations...then like you I went through my own divorce the week between Christmas and New Years which pretty much solidified my feelings for this time of year.
When my kids were children, I could've won an Academy Award for the act I put on in order to give them some sort of normal Christmas, but they are grown now, and I no longer have to pretend. I just distract myself and ignore as much of the holidays as possible
Hang in there. One more week.
