The girls who cried at Elvis or the Beatles were just as pathetic. Who gives a frick about people you don't know, doing shite that doesn't affect you? I guess at least musicians can affect you emotionally. You sound like you watch a lot of reality TV.

Celeb worship in general is ridiculous.
Except for Neil Pearl.

Queen is probably mad to be made to look like a commoner with family problems.

Harry is a differnt kind of cat. Think about his life. He's lived it entirely knowing his brother is the "chosen one" and that he's the red headed stepchild(no pun intended). He volunteers for the front lines when everyone did all they could to stop him(and did in a roundabout way), gets away as much as possible and chooses a girl that he knew wouldn't be accepted because of her race, divorce and "peasant" like upbringing. It's like he's just been waiting for any legit reason to bolt that loon fest.
I don't care about it either way but of all those folks in that bunch, he's the one Id relate to most. Money will never be an issue for either of them.

What's interesting is that monarchies are still a thing in 2020 and that people actually support and admire this antiquated and oppressive system. I hope they all quit and move somewhere else. frick every king, queen and royal family that ever existed. Most of these types of governments have been overthrown and replaced by a democratic system for a reason. Why are people are so caught up in the royal horseshite drama? Make an example out of them by overthrowing and replacing every one of them and bring the power back to the people.

They created work that touched lives. Music was changing in the 1950s and 60s. Since then, it's been a cultural phenomenon that defined each decade until rap and pop pissed in the well.
It's not strange to get emotional about those who inspire emotion.
Same way with sports, why get someone's signature on a napkin or take a picture

The princess Diana wedding hype was nauseating.

Harry should have never gone into her toxic tunnel. That chick is a user and a total gold digger. Now there is a baby and he is on the hook for that and she will milk that for for every bit of attention and gold that she can get.

Can you explain how the current system with the Windsor family is oppressive? The royal family doesn’t even vote.
The king/queen of Britain haven’t governed in person since 1760 when George III agreed to give up revenue from the Crown Estate and instead with parliament created what was known as the Civil List. This too went away in 2011 and was replaced with the Sovereign Grant Act. The crown estate’s revenue goes directly to the department of revenue and inures directly to the benefit of the British nation.
From an economical point of view, the revenue from the royal family far exceeds the expense of paying their upkeep. Can we say the same for how much we spend on sending politicians to Washington or paying for ex-presidents?
Is it an antiquated system, absolutely, but it is in no way detrimental to democracy in the British Isles.
