Same here I left Orleans Parish 8 months ago and despite my reluctance to leave it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. All of my close friends are now moving or have moved to the Northshore as well.

I fear for the CBD because those office building occupancy levels are going to hit 80s levels by next year.

I don’t live in New Orleans anymore but I spent the vast majority of my life living in New Orleans. If you ever think you’re shielded from the underbelly of the city then you have a rude awakening…. That being said, some outsider that has been there for 5 years tells people he is a ‘new Orleanian’ and buys in a gentrified neighborhood then gets 7th warded and starts a blog crying, is damn funny, I don’t care who ya mom an dem are
