Anyway, why are we talking about Perfidious Albion?? The Guinness commercial is about Irish culture, Irish values and an Irish beer.
It's insulting to continue to bring up the UK in the context of this thread, since Guinness and Ireland have nothing to do with the UK.

I'm not Irish.
I'm simply a supporter of the idea that the entire Irish island should have the right to vote on the issue of whether the Six Counties should belong to the Irish republic, or remain a province of a foreign, overseas nation.

The Irish people have no interest in competing with Great Britain or British people at all.
It would be better if the entire island of Ireland would belong to the Republic of Ireland. The British should stay on their own islands and let the Irish Republic have the Irish island.
Unfortunately, the British don't agree. They not only want their own islands, but, they also insist on keeping the Six Counties for themselves instead of allowing the entire Irish island to vote on whether this part of the Irish island should belong to the Irish Republic.

Awesome commercial, but I too thought we were going funny on this one so here is my funny commercial straight from Germany..... German coast guard.....and..... Wilkinsons family restaurant.

It was a really good commercial - well thought out and simple (usually the best ones follow this formula somewhat). My only objection is why does a beer company use a Christian hymn in their commercial? The song playing in the background is "Leaning On the Everlasting Arms".
