My friend is a warden and he laughs when he sees these jeep people driving around with ducks because the whole “duck” thing started in prison. He said if an inmate was “down” they’d put a duck on their jail window and the other inmates knew that “if he’s got a duck, he’s down to have homosexual relations”

There isn't many places to go offroading in this area. A lot of people buy them for to be in the in crowd. Some others buy them to dress up and show.
Then there are people like me that has modified mine for trail riding. We have driven in trails in Ark., Okla., Tx., N.Mex., Arizona, Utah, and some other places.

Spending 50k on a Jeep; drive into water then video yourself doing it. This latest generation wonders why we don't like them.

Fair statement and there are and always have been serious outdoorsmen in jeeps. If you are on a trail or tent camping, mad respect. I dont' get to do enough of that anymore and I miss it. Life, job, kid, etc... and its sad.
But we also cannot deny the fact that Intrepids, Luminas, Oldsmobiles all disappeared and truck/jeep sales are through the roof. My wife (no pics) works with people that openly admit they never take their jeep past the grocery store. Thats lame.
